Dr. Joseph Tafuna’i (Dr. Joey for short) began his educational journey at Brigham Young University, where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Nutritional Science. His passion for service and creativity led him to pursue dentistry, earning his Doctor of Dental Medicine from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine.
During his time at UPenn, he developed strong clinical skills and a deep commitment to patient-centered, evidence-based care.
To further expand his surgical and comprehensive treatment capabilities, Dr. Joey completed a General Practice Residency at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
His residency provided hands-on experience in digital dentistry, implant placement, IV moderate sedation, and the management of medically complex and underserved patients.
